The path of 20s is not so easy for many. It's the phase when one experience the problems which they've never seen before and starts feeling the burdens of responsibilities. And suddenly, the nights become sleepless as self-comparisons hit so hard, all the plans start moving off the track and the worst part is when there's hardly anyone to understand all these.
The beginning of the twenties has taught me that wasting our energy on places where we feel undervalued or disrespected, and taking on not only our own frustrations but also the suffering of others, is not easy and is not something everyone can manage.
During this period, many who had been actively engaged and very social in their lives often find themselves narrowing down into smaller spaces and responsibilities. These contractions for survival can sometimes be a subject to judgments.
The ones who used to reach to everyone with concern and consoling them, then start taking time for themselves for which they become 'selfish' for others and hence all they did till then becomes invalid.
In fact, every human around us are battling with their own struggles. It's just the intensity that varies. Just because they smile and try to be cheerful, it doesn't mean that they're actually happy. Each person strives to live while overcoming trust issues, anxiety, and other obstacles that life presents.
When trying to step away from uncomfortable situations or move away from places where we feel unwelcomed, just ignore the judgments with the disregard they actually deserve.
The beginning of the twenties has taught me that wasting our energy on places where we feel undervalued or disrespected, and taking on not only our own frustrations but also the suffering of others, is not easy and is not something everyone can manage.
Valuing and prioritizing our own mental health thus living peacefully and letting others live without causing any harm for them, and being able to sleep peacefully at the end of the day is something that seems to be the greatest achievement we can attain in our twenties.
It's just one life. Live it without waiting for anyone’s validation. Just be kind to yourself as well as the others.
Wishing you to have a good day.
Thank you :)
