Happy career !

To begin with, let me congratulate all the winners and good scorers of public/ board exams (sorry that I'm a little late). Other than a few who've already chosen their career, many might be facing this doubt ; what to do next ? Not only the students, but also the parents.  We have a lot of different and job - perspective courses available today. Many might have been confused about what to choose among that. Many people including parents, family and friends might have suggested different courses. Some parents might have forced to choose the course they wish them to do. Or might have chosen a course according to their choice. Or else, they might have pre - planned to make their children a doctor, an engineer or something else since so long. As a part of that, children might have been getting forced to take that particular course. Now this is for those parents ;  All our children have different tastes. They have good skills, interests and likes. They are supposed to prove their s...

Cry it out ; and its completely alright !

Crying people is not an annoying sight ! We generally make fun of children when they cry watching their parents leave them alone at school. Most of us tell them to watch the other kid who is not crying and be like them and try to stop their cry. Right from there, we are used to keep the finger on our nose to make fun of people who cry ; and let me say, thats not a crime ! Heard somewhere that it is the people who cry easily, have anxiety, or are mentally weak, who we should hold closer. Though I don't remember where I heard this or who said this, lots of love for them.  Even though at the verge of crying, many people try to control it besides the flow of emotion, just to save their face of pride. They just try to show that they are 'bold' enough to face any difficult situation. Finally, they die with the burden of many sorrows that they've never revealed to anyone. Ever thought of their pain when you make fun of them ? What would be their mental stress when they could n...

The 'filmy' politics

Some people...most of them, when we say, think that medias like movies, serials, t.v programs and advertisements do not have the ability to influence the society. I just want to dismiss your line of thinking. Even this simple opinion you uphold reveals the politics you stand with. In that case, to say that there is none of it in a creation is a non- existent argument. The glorification of contents like misogyny, racism, sexism, casteism and rape jokes....later they say that to consider them JUST as movies, serials, trolls, reels or jokes !! Is that even a logic ?! That is their politics ; their mindset ! And let me say, we can't ignore them just like that since these are the media that have the greatest potential to influence society.  If a prominent advertisement of a jewellery states that 'pura nirayum penninu ara niraye swarnam' (which literally means, a chamber full of gold for women who is full-fledged to get married upto the most extend) ; it clearly reveals their min...

"You are so good at making people uncomfortable !"

The issue mentioned here is actually a conversation between Riyas Salim (Ex-contestent of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4) and Meera Anil (Anchor) in the show, Comedy Stars Season 3. The video clip of their conversation is currently unavailable in youtube, since they removed it due to some unknown reasons. Questions, jokes and enquiries are ofcourse encouraged ; only with minimum common sense. Or else, you will have to face the consequences.  Why isn't it understood that one's personal life is their own privacy and it should be respected ?! No one ever will be ready to accept the awkwardness when they are asked about their private matters and they will or should respond with strong words of objection. And thats what Riyas did there. If this is the media role, then it should be renamed as decline/degradation ! To the media world : its just not your 'world' ; let me mention that you can see another world of humans, if you climb down. Adding 'masalas' and asking unw...
